we are alonzo & madison pollum.
quick intro:
I'm Madison, but my friends call me Maddy (spell it however you would like). I'm a 27 year old (I’m gonna have to stop updating my age on this) who has devoted my whole life to following the Great Commission. You'll get to see more of what that looks like when I figure out more of what that looks like, lol. It's a journey, that's why I'm writing this.
I love peanut butter, cheap coffee, clouds, feeling the sun, and traveling. I know each day I wake up with a purpose to fulfill and an amazing God ever-present with me. Here's to living a life following Jesus and maybe (heavy on the maybe) writing a few entries about it.

The best day of my life was August 4th, 2018. I married sweet Alonzo Terry Pollum. He's the best gift God's given me (besides Jesus).
Marriage is beauty, marriage is also brokenness. When two people who are learning to love and be loved are given the opportunity to completely and intimately be and know one another, it makes life fun and makes you way more dependent on Jesus. Thank you, Lord. 😅
university of central arkansas:
Where it all began. Our lives both drastically changed while we were at UCA. We learned how to fall in love with Jesus, love others, and go make disciples. UCA Chi Alpha has sent over 100 full time missionaries to fulfill the great commission over the country and the world. We’re thankful we get to be a +2. Go Bears 🐻💜
africa:
This is the specific people and continent we feel God has called us to. Why? I don’t entirely know yet. We’re figuring that out as we get there. But we said YES so here we go! We have a heart for the students that will be the next generation of hope to lead their peers and their people to Christ. Their futures are so bright even amidst the darkest of places.
what we do: Disciple. It's a simple term with significant meaning. It is a term that can and should encompass your whole life.
